The Job in a Nutshell:

The Administrative Coordinator supports various project initiatives across MEDCO. This entry level position is a terrific opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of Economic Development, commercial real estate, and construction management in the state of Maryland. This is a busy hands-on role supporting various teams at MEDCO. The Administrative Coordinator will be able to balance the operational and administrative aspects of the job to meet the requirements of MEDCO. This person plays an integral role in supporting MEDCO.  You will support multiple projects and teams with changing priorities and represent MEDCO within the business, government, and nonprofit sectors. This position reports to the Office Manager.  


A Day in the Life of the Administrative Coordinator:
You may be wondering, "what would I do in this job?" Here is a snapshot of what to expect in this job...

  • Provide administrative support to the project development team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of project proposals, bids, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information for project development activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, records, and documentation.
  • Assist in conducting research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making processes.
  • Assist in preparing project status reports, presentations, and other deliverables as required.
  • Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Track project budgets, expenses, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance project development efficiency and effectiveness.

Is This You:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • This position requires regular public interactions including but not limited to public officials, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with research, planning, and evaluation.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail, with ability to anticipate, initiate, and advance multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Video Conferencing to conduct meetings and events via Teams, Zoom, or other video conferencing technology.
  • CRM Experience preferred but not required
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
