Outside Sales Associate

We’re looking for an Outside Sales Associate to support our sales efforts in the Lancaster and York, PA region. This is an entry-level, field-based position that involves visiting existing and potential customers, communicating promotions, and helping to grow our customer base. You’ll work closely with three experienced sales professionals and gain hands-on experience in customer engagement, sales strategy, and territory development.

This is a local travel position with minimal overnight stays. You’ll be on the road early, meeting with customers and making sure they have what they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing and prospective customers throughout the Lancaster/York area.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular in-person visits.
  • Communicate product specials, promotions, and offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Scout and qualify potential new accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system (Agility).
  • Learn and use our ERP and CRM tools to support customer interactions.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Occasional travel to Ohio or Europe for training or supplier visits.

 

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, entrepreneurship, sales/retail management, agricultural economics, or sports management.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset – you don’t need to be micromanaged.
  • Comfortable with early mornings and being on the road most of the day.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (MS Office, CRM, ERP).
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Based in or near Lancaster, PA.

 

Terrific Total Compensation Package:

  • Annual starting salary of $50,000.
  • Performance-based bonuses, especially for opening new accounts.
