Inventory and Sales Support Associate

We’re seeking an Inventory & Sales Support Specialist to support both warehouse operations and customer relationship development. The unique role is a 50/50 blend of inventory management and customer service, including field visits to existing and potential customers in the Lancaster and York, PA region.

You’ll work closely with experienced sales professionals, gaining hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer engagement, and territory development. The reporting warehouse is in Leola, PA. Travel is primarily local and infrequent, with minimal overnight stays. You’ll be either at the warehouse or on the road early, meeting with customers and making sure they have what they need to succeed.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cycle counts on stock inventory and adjust in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) ERP system.
  • Assist with order entry, picking, shipping, and loading processes.
  • Receive materials, generate and assign inventory labels.
  • Schedule inbound deliveries and shipments.
  • Set up occasional LTL and FedEx deliveries.
  • Support warehouse colleagues with remanufacturing (Reman) orders.
  • Maintain shared inventory spreadsheets (Excel).
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues via email and phone.
  • Ensure accurate data entry for sales, purchase, and pick orders in ERP.

Sales Support and Customer Engagement Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing and prospective customers throughout the Lancaster/York area.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular in-person visits.
  • Communicate product specials, promotions, and offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Scout and qualify potential new accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system (Agility).
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Occasional travel out of state for training or supplier visits.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Salary is commensurate with lumber industry experience.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset – you thrive without being micromanaged.
  • Comfortable with early mornings and being on the road.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems (MS Office, CRM, ERP).
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to grow within a collaborative, employee-owned company.

Terrific Total Compensation Package:

  • Annual starting salary of $75,000.
