We’re looking for a Program Director to lead our program staff, who run a diverse portfolio of initiatives. From our Trolley Tours to our monthly homebuying workshops to our annual birthday party for the City, our Program Director ensures that our work successfully showcases Baltimore as a great place to live!

Key Priorities & Responsibilities:

Staff Leadership:

• Directs, plans, and coordinates the work of a diverse and talented program team
• Organizes and attends weekly program meetings with team members
• Uses project management principles to ensure program team members carry out successful program activities
• Develops and mentors program team members
• Assists the Executive Director in the hiring of program team members

Program and Event Management:

• Plans and helps implement all Live Baltimore program activities
• Compiles, maintains, and reports on program statistics
• Analyzes program trends and makes necessary adjustments to ensure programmatic success
• Assists in creating marketing materials to advertise events and programs
• Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with community stakeholders

Fundraising:

• Assists the leadership team and Event Manager with fundraising initiatives
• Attends networking events as a representative of Live Baltimore

Client Service:

• Monitors the overall quality of client appointments
• Analyzes data from customer surveys and other sources to enhance client service standards

Is This You?:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of program/project management experience
• 3+ years of staff management experience
• Familiarity with event planning preferred
• Experience with program/project management software and processes desired
• Must LOVE the City of Baltimore…and must be a current resident of Baltimore City (not the county)

Terrific Total Compensation Package:

• Annual starting salary of $72,000-$76,000, commensurate with experience
