Position:  Customer Service Representative
Function Segment:  General Office
Work Environment: Office
Location:  Bowie, Maryland
Experience Required:  2 years professional office (minimum)
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual, with the ability to perform customer support activities in a rapidly growing technology company.  The Customer Service Representative will work with Operations and Sales departments in a broad range of tasks. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multitask and keep up in a fast paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.  Previous experience in a customer service is a plus. 
 
Main Job Tasks
  • manage customer accounts; deal directly with customers either by telephone or electronically
  • process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resources
  • prepare and distribute customer activity reports
  • communicate and coordinate with internal departments
     
    Specific Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue SemaConnect Passes
  • Respond to telephone/email/website inquiries
  • Register and train new Customers on SemaConnect system software
 
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient with MS Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional demeanor.
  • Detailed oriented self-starter, well organized and able to work with minimal supervision
