POSITION SUMMARY
This position's primary responsibility is to serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations matters to include onboarding and offboarding procedures, corrective action procedures and employee training. The HR Generalist will assist with recruiting and creating an orientation plan for new employees and will continually train employees throughout employment.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and background:
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, and exceptional Human Resource acumen.
  • Enjoys solving problems, taking on difficult challenges and finding solutions.
  • Can manage multiple competing priorities while under pressure to perform.
  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Years of Experience: 5-10 years in human resources.
  • Proficiency Level Required with MS Office Products: intermediate.
  • Excellent time management, organization and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Experience in being a sole HR practitioner.
  • Solid training experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding,  Offboarding, and Training
  • Assist with recruiting new employees as well as new hire orientation.
  • Enroll employees into benefits and payroll system, ensure new hire paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Ensure terminated employees are offboarded properly; terminate employees out of all necessary systems.
  • Create training plans for all new and existing employees for various training purposes (customer service, best practices for managers, consistent office practices, etc.)
  • Prepare a regular and ongoing training schedule for staff.
  • Develop and implement consistent standard operating procedures for all positions in multiple offices.
Employee Relations and Team Leadership
  • Handle all employee relations matter and assist managers with employee relations matters; prepare performance improvement plans and written warnings as needed.
  • Consult with HR Consultant as needed for guidance around various situations.
  • Manage a quarterly performance evaluation process.
  • Ensure alignment of HR practices to RCT Endodontic’s mission and organizational goals and manage employee morale.
  • Guide Operations Manager and Doctors on best practices in HR.
Payroll
  • Enter employee information into payroll system and approve timecards.
  • Process, run and manage the payroll process.
  • Manage payroll changes throughout each pay period. Ensure proper backup documentation is in place.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Some travel may be required, up to 20% of the time.  The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air.
