The Opportunity:
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual, with the ability to understand and communicate technical issues associated with the electrical vehicle industry.  The Field Application Engineer is the primary technical resource for the field sales force, and contributes to product development.
 
Working as a technical contributor and product advocate, the Application Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for technical issues to assure customer satisfaction through all stages of product design and usage.
 
The Application Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships. The successful candidate will possess the ability to multitask and keep up in a fast paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. 
 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Speak to the technology and product to both equipment Owners and users.
• Provide design and specification development support to consultants, integrators, anddistributors.
• Process products through product safety, FCC, and other industry testing requirements to successful completion.
• Perform technical/product training for company sales staff and technical people where equipment is installed.
• Travel to project sites to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as necessary.
• Maintain written record of active and completed projects.

 

Qualifications

Required:

• BA/BS in a Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience.
• Proficient in MicrosoftOffice
• Read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basicelectrical and mechanical controlsystems

 

• Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizationalskills
• Proven Project Managementskills.
