SENIOR ACCOUNTANT -  CPA REQUIRED
        
A Typical Week May Look Like This…
  • Prepares and reconciles month end balance sheet and revenue/expense accounts including, but not limited to, investments, fixed assets, intercompany accounts and liability accounts.
  • Prepares journal entries for month-end close as directed by the Controller.
  • Assist with accounts payable and back up for accounts receivable.
  • Prepares and files multi-state property tax returns, business licenses and annual reports.
  • Reviews and provides financial reports and analysis of expenses for the Membership and Certification departments monthly.
  • Monthly reconciliation of investment accounts.
  • Processes bi-weekly payroll with ADP consultant and analyzes payroll expense forecasting.
  • Prepares revenue and expense analysis of AFP's programs and profit centers.
Is This You?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Current CPA required.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience including payroll processing, experience in AP/AR, journal entries, account reconciliation, and analytical skills.
  • Must have experience with processing payroll.
  • Self starter and highly driven to succeed at whatever you do!
  • An adaptable person who is highly collaborative and fosters strong teamwork.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel (advanced), Microsoft Office, and accounting software such as Great Plains. 
  • Experience with forecasting (Adaptive) and expense software (Concur) is desirable.
  • Ability to muti-task and enjoys a challenge in a fast-paced workplace.
