POSITION SUMMARY
This position's primary responsibility is to guide all financial decisions at RCT Endodontics. The Controller will protect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing all internal controls, developing financial planning processes and designing and implementing business plans. The Controller will report to the Operations Manager and support and monitor all financial situations.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and background:
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, and exceptional financial analysis/management acumen.
  • Enjoys solving problems, taking on difficult challenges and finding solutions.
  • Can manage multiple competing priorities while under pressure to perform.
  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Years of Experience: 5-10 years in accounting.
  • Proficiency Level Required with MS Office Products: intermediate.
  • Excellent time management, organization and communication skills.
  • Must have experience managing a budget over $1M.
  • Solid experience utilizing Quickbooks, Indesign and Adobe.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
  • Prepare and manage RCT Endodontics financial data, planning and reporting.
  • Design and implement overall business plans and annual budget.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual assessments and forecasts of the practices’ financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.
  • Compile annual review/audit documentation in coordination with accountant.
  • Proactively monitor gross profit margins and implement practices to improve them as well as monitor and control expenses.
Customer Service and Team Leadership
  • Ensure timely responses to customer requests.
  • Ensure alignment of team to RCT Endodontic’s mission and organizational goals. 
  • Create, administer and manage financial policies, standards, practices, and security measures for all offices to assure effective and consistent financial practices.
  • Provide guidance and direction regarding finances to the doctors and Operations Manager.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Some travel may be required, up to 20% of the time.  The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air.
